Annex VI subject ID/treatment number = kit ID?

Annex VI subject ID/treatment number = kit ID?

In Annex VI their is a requirement stated “the subject identification number/treatment number and where relevant, the visit number”. My question is can the Kit ID be considered the treatment number? We have small sachet packs and running out of room, so I wonder if a kit ID is sufficient for this requirement.
