Cathy McGuinness

Cathy McGuinness is the Director for Expanded Access, Global Clinical Supply at Pfizer Inc. with a passion for patient access to medication. Cathy graduated with a Masters in Clinical Laboratory Medicine in 1996. Since that time, Cathy has worked internationally in various vendor and Pharma roles to lead the timely delivery of clinical supplies, laboratory requirements or data in support of clinical trials, investigator research and various compassionate projects. Today, Cathy leads a team of colleagues responsible for the delivery of investigational product in response to approved Compassionate requests. In this work, Cathy has gained considerable experience overseeing single patient, multi-cohort and Expanded Access Protocol demand and developed strategies to plan for the regulatory requirements of such programs and prepare for the supply risks during program set up, maintenance and close out.
