Bob Misher

Robert Misher has over 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, both with research and development companies and out-source providers. For the past 27 years, Mr. Misher has been involved in the pharmaceutical outsourcing sector of the industry including the founding of BlisTech Corporation, a clinical supply contract packaging organization. Upon the sale of BlisTech to Oread in 1998, he was named President of the Clinical Supply Division of Oread, a contract pharmaceutical organization and later with the sale of the BlisTech Division to Berwind in 2000 he held a similar position with Berwind Pharmaceutical Services. During this time Mr. Misher lead the effort to establish a European component to the BlisTech business by building a facility in the UK. This facility provided access to the European, Middle Eastern and Asia-Pacific markets.

In 2003, Mr. Misher joined Almedica International as Chief Operating Officer. He was responsible for the contract clinical packaging operating units in North America and Europe and actively participated in the sale of the company to Aptuit in late 2005. He subsequently founded Misher Pharmaceutical Consulting Services which provided consulting services to the clinical manufacturing, packaging and clinical operations functions within pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

In March 2010, Mr. Misher joined Anderson Packaging as SVP and General Manager Global Clinical Services. In this role he was charged with building the US Clinical business (facilities and staffing) and harmonizing the operations with the existing UK clinical business.

In May 2013, Anderson Packaging was acquired by Packaging Coordinators Inc. where Mr. Misher continued his role as SVP Global Clinical Services.

Prior to participating in the outsourcing sector, Mr. Misher was affiliated for 11 years with major pharmaceutical companies managing both commercial and clinical packaging functions. He is a member of ISPE, DIA, AAPS and has made numerous presentations at annual meetings. Mr. Misher holds a BSc in Chemistry from Widener University and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University.
