On September 5, 2024, the GCSG APAC e-Team hosted a free webinar entitled, Import/Export of Clinical Supplies – An Overview. This webinar provided essential insights into the documentation and processes required for importing clinical supplies into the US and navigating post-Brexit supply chains. Logistics experts Puvi Bala and Mervin Sulistyo discussed key topics such as US import documentation, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes and the impact of Brexit on clinical supply logistics. Additionally, an interactive session on HTS codes allowed participants to learn how to identify these codes independently.
