I do not know of a standard set of metrics the industry uses for TEs but the 2 you site are the most common I see. I like to track the absolute number of excursions per location to pinpoint if 1 site is having issues others are not. I also find it helpful to establish a small number of causes (i.e., temp monitor – human error; temp monitor failure – device; storage issue) relevant for your study that can be used to monitor the most common issues. If one particular problem keeps happening then it can addressed.
