Depending on the amount of information you need to have on the final labeling step JIT is my preferred process. This is a convenient and fast process but is limited to minimal information like the trial code or expiry date.

If you need to add more than that you’re looking at completing a packaging operation. Fortunately there are many vendors that have developed rapid manufacturing processes to minimize the time required to complete the operation. Talk to them about what process they have for completing fast manufacturing from label text approval to release and then create your supply plan around that.
