The US is the only place where I have successfully used the multiple trials on the label route. It is not accepted in EU and I haven’t really tried it elsewhere. Maybe others out there have had luck doing that globally but I’ve been limited to the US.
My preferred method today is to use JIT or some form of fast labeling & release process to provide flexibility meeting the trial code requirement.
