From a vendor view where we see a large number of companies taking various approaches to clinical supplies it’s is nearly 50/50 for photo vs physical retains. There are still more physical samples but the spread is shrinking. The biggest factor seems to be knowledge of the requirements. Many people are unaware that it is acceptable to us photographs so once we inform them of that they typically opt for it. I have not encountered any instances of regulatory resistance to that approach.
