Hi Ed. Yes, DFP can go back to the clinical site or to the originating pharmacy/depot. Pitfalls are: patients can send back “anything”, so need to be sure they have good instructions on what/how to return (we don’t want all expired medicine they have on hand); patient info needs to be removed (if any is present); returns supplies can either be dropped off at the time of a DTP delivery and picked up at that time or sent out separately by the depot, pharmacy or clinical sites. Consider a virtual visit when the patient is packing up the return. Hope this helps!
