GCSG 2019 European Knowledge Forum Scholarship Recipient

Congratulations to Julie MacLeod, our 2019 Global Clinical Supplies Group European Scholarship recipient! Julie is currently in her 3rd year at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is studying Chemistry with Industrial Experience (MChem) and will be graduating in 2022.
Julie shared that she was absolutely delighted and honored when she was informed at the end of September 2019 that she had been selected to receive the GCSG European Scholarship for 2019. As part of the scholarship, Julie had the opportunity to attend the Knowledge Forum in Cascais, Portugal and commented that it was an incredible experience. As part of the conference she attended the “Understanding the Essentials of the Clinical Supply Chain” Boot Camp as well as various presentations and workshops. She found all the sessions to be very informative and enjoyable and she came away with many new friends and contacts. Julie is so grateful for the generous scholarship made possible by the GCSG membership, which will be utilized to support her continued studies in Edinburgh.
