Hi,

How did you get on with this scenario?

More information is needed to offer guidance. Is the foreign – third – country on the list of approved countries?

If the foreign country is not on the approved country list, and your company is facilitating the buying and selling, the drug would be considered ‘Introduced’, in your situation it is a ‘Fiscal Introduction’ given the product never enters the UK. This is feasible with proper controls to verify product quality, security and purity – so consider your control measures thoroughly.

Your WDA license must specify Category 1.3 (without authorization), Export, and relevant Product Types (cold chain, narcotics, etc.), even when products won’t physically arrive at your facility.

RP oversight is required. VAT on the purchase is payable in the third country as the goods are not physically exported.

I hope you can let us know how you got on with this.

Neil
